A trip was organized for elderly individuals within the scope of the “Duzce Volunteers Together” project implemented by Düzce Municipality and Düzce Social Activities Association (DÜSED). During the event held in Akçakoca, the guests hosted on the catamaran excursion boat had a pleasant day. Düzce Municipality, while simultaneously working on giant projects in many parts of the city, focuses on social and cultural projects. Realizing many firsts with the ‘Duzce Volunteers Together Project’ carried out together with DÜSED, Düzce Municipality touched the hearts of elderly individuals in its last event.
Seniors to whom nursing home and Social Assistance Directorate provide services such as home care, self-care and cleaning, met at the boat tour event organized for them. At the event held in Akçakoca, the guests, who took a tour of the coastline with the Catamaran, enjoyed the sea with the all-day event and boosted their morale. Afterwards, the elderly individuals who participated in the meal prepared for them, thanked Düzce Municipality, which they always said to be with them, and Mayor Dr. He conveyed his thanks to Faruk Özlü.
